gentle on the stomach product for babies suffering of colic & has
been an ancient tradition passed on through generations of parents.
The formula combines ginger, fennel, & chamomile to provide ease
for symptoms such as uncontrollable crying, fussing, sleeplessness,
teething, and hiccups.
Each serving offers relief for up to four hours
and is free of preservatives such as methylparaben and
polyparaben.
Gripe water is also safe for adult consumption for the
relief of gastrointestinal discomfort and can be helpful in soothing
symptoms associated with chemotherapy & traveling.
About
Colic:
The cause of colic is unknown, however, many believe it is due
to an under developed nervous system or gastrointestinal problems.
Roughly 20 percent of babies, get colic, which equally affects males
and females regardless of birth order. Generally, colic appears in
babies around the age of two to four weeks and last for three or more
months.
Signs of colic include uncontrollable, inconsolable crying for
more than three hours, several days a week.

Organic:
Organic is a term used to denote that a product or a
certain percentage of that product's ingredients are grown and produced
without the use of synthetic chemicals (eg: fertilizers, pesticides,
antibiotics, and hormones.)
As
noted on Wellements packaging, all of the primary ingredients in Gripe
Water are certified organic. Organic herbs like those in Wellements
Gripe Water are twice as potent as non-organic herbs therefore the
required amount needed to be effective is considerably less.
Directions:
Keep this and all supplements out of the reach of children. Do not
exceed the recommended dosage. Do not give to child if they are allergic to any of the
ingredients. Since infants have immature immune systems a possibility
exists that an infant may have rare allergic reaction. Should not be
given if there is a history of kidney failure or renal problems. Always
consult your health care provider prior to giving this or any
supplement to an infant. Do not use if safety seal is broken or
missing. We recommend discarding 6 weeks after opening (due to reduced
potency).
